Birthline was founded because we knew that women and men going through an unexpected pregancy often needed someone to walk beside them and to care about their needs. We offer a non-judgmental helping hand to explore all options necessary to make important life decisions. 

During your first meeting, we will perform a pregnancy test. If your pregnancy test is positive, we can arrange for a free doctor's exam. If you already have pregnancy verification by a physician, please bring it with you.  

You can share as much of your personal story as you like. Our caring and experienced mentors will provide the necessary information and support you need to work through the circumstances of your pregnancy. Your mentor can help you sort out your feelings so you can decide what is right for you. They won't presure you into a decision. 

What's next?

We can suggest additional services, like our STEPPING STONES program, where you have the opportunity to obtain diapers, clothing, carseats or adult care items you may need.  Our mentors will remain available to you as long as you would like them to be, no matter what decision you make. 

Assistance with Housing, Food and other Necessary Services

We will also provide referral services to other community organizations if you need help outside of our scope of services, like:

• medical assistance
• nutrition resources
• housing
• employment
• education
• advanced parenting
• adoption

We understand that not everyone has the same circumstances, and we'll do everything we can to help you.
